Course Description

S-CPR (Hospital CPR) for Children is a training program based on the guidelines of the Swedish CPR Council and is intended for all healthcare personnel both inside and outside hospitals, dental personnel, and students in healthcare programs.

Certificates and action plans are provided upon completion of the course.

Access is available for 12 months from the date of purchase. During this time, participants can take the course and go back to review the material as many times as they wish. As the person responsible for registration, you can easily log in to view participants’ progress and certificates, add more participants, and generate reports.
In-Person Training This course lasts 3–4 hours and alternates between theory and hands-on practice at your location. We bring all the training materials and come to you. There is a maximum of 6 participants per instructor per session. We can also combine pediatric and adult CPR if you’d like to take both courses.

  • The Chain That Saves Lives: The Importance of Early Alert
  • The most common causes of airway obstruction in children, and how to prevent it
  • High-quality CPR using both single-rescuer and two-rescuer techniques, as well as three rescuers
  • How to Treat a Child with Cardiac Arrest Based on the S-CPR for Children Action Plan
  • How to Treat a Patient with an Airway Obstruction According to the CPR Council's Guidelines
  • The Importance of Teamwork and Effective Communication


Prerequisites

  • Audio version of the textbook on pediatric CPR
  • Completed online S-CPR for children course with a passing grade. When you book, you’ll receive all the information and assistance you need to prepare. If you’d like, we can help you order course materials.
