This course in CPR and First Aid for Children is divided into two parts: 1) web-based theory and 2) hands-on practice with an instructor, held at your location or online.
Time required: online course approx. 45 min + hands-on practice 1.5 h
Certificates and action plans are provided upon completion of the course.
When you purchase the course for a group or company, you’ll also need to name your group. Please use the organization’s name and the type of course as the group name. You can also choose to include yourself as a course participant.
Purpose and Objectives
The purpose of this course is to provide more people with training in CPR and first aid in a more flexible way, thereby saving more lives. The goal of the course is for you to feel confident and secure enough to step in if a child becomes acutely ill or collapses unconscious.
Course Content
Practical Exercise
This course includes both a preparatory online course and hands-on training at your location. We’ll come to your site to practice CPR and airway obstruction techniques, as well as various scenarios involving the use of an AED. The online course takes about 45 minutes, and the on-site practical session takes 1.5 hours; there is a limit of 15 participants per instructor per session.
